Kyo no go noni (Today in Class 5-2)

his year’s 43rd issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine has announced on Monday that Coharu Sakuraba’s Kyo no Gononi (”Ky? no 5 no 2″ or “Today in Class 5-2″) manga will restart with a three-installment run. The new run will begin in the next issue on September 29. The “light ecchi” story centers around fifth grader Ry?ta Sat?, his childhood friend Chika Koizumi, and the rest of their school’s Class 5-2. Tsuyoshi Nagasawa and Xebec’s television anime adaptation will premiere on October 5. Another Kodansha magazine with a similar name, Bessatsu Young Magazine, serialized Kyo no Gononi’s original 2002-2003 run.

Weekly Young Magazine is also publishing one installment of Bow Ditama’s Kiss×sis manga about the “forbidden” love between a boy and two stepsisters. The Feel anime studio is adapting this story for an animation DVD that will be bundled with the third manga volume compilation on December 22. The manga series normally runs in Bessatsu Young Magazine.

The OVAs of Ichigo 100% were all released at different times compared to the TV series. The first OVA was released before the TV series aired (and was made solely by Madhouse). They are not a continuation of the TV series, but are rather separate episodes based on certain chapters from the Ichigo 100% manga.

Episode Titles (Translated):

1. “Stormy Spring Festival of the Night Mist” (selections from manga chapters 22,82)
2. “Oumi Academy Exodus” (corresponds to manga chapters 58,59,60)
3. “Fresh Pension Crisis ~ Be Careful of the Owner!” (Original story. The three guys and seven girls of the series take a weekend job at a mountain lodge. But the owners turn out to be perverts who want to harass the girls and make them wear revealing outfits. It’s up to Manaka to protect them.)
4. “Sudden change of Heart!?” (Extension of the v17 Omake. The girls mysteriously start changing personalities. due to an alien disguised as a pantsu)

In terms of the anime, OVA 1 would logically go between episodes 12 and 13, OVA 2 would go between episodes 21 and 22, and the specials would go immediately after episode 24. OVAs 3 and 4 stand alone.

Strawberry 100% chronicles the life of Junpei Manaka, a high school student and aspiring movie director, and his relationships with the girls that enter his life.

The story begins some time during Junpei’s final year at middle school. One afternoon, Junpei goes up to the school rooftop to see the sunset. Just as he arrives, he sees a beautiful girl fall down in front of him, and manages to catch a glimpse of her strawberry-patterned panties before she runs off. For Junpei, it is love at first sight.

Climbing up to the ledge the girl fell from, Junpei finds a notebook belonging to someone named Aya Tojo. His hopes that the owner is the mystery girl are dashed when he finds Aya to be an ordinary-looking girl with braided hair and thick eyeglasses. However, he soon discovers that Aya is a gifted writer, and the two become friends.

Consulting his friends Rikiya Komiyama and Okusa about the girl he saw on the rooftop, Junpei comes to the conclusion that the mystery girl is Tsukasa Nishino, the most beautiful girl in school. Despite Tsukasa’s reputation of turning down the advances of every boy who asks her out, Junpei decides to confess his love for her. Following Aya’s advice, he confesses to Tsukasa in an unusual manner: while doing a pull-up. To everyone’s surprise, Tsukasa agrees to become his girlfriend. Moments later, however, Junpei sees the mystery girl with strawberry-patterned panties, making him realize that Tsukasa is not the girl he is looking for.

*I really really love this series, too bad the anime version was butchered (for me)…if you want to know the whole story I really suggest you read the manga, it really has a touching story don’t just depend on the anime adaptation. I hope that some animation company in japan would remake this like what happened to Ah! Megami-sama.

JDorama: Moppu Gaaru (Mop Girl)

Yup, I know this isn’t an anime nor anime related but eventhough, I just want to make a post of it here =p…this JDorama is one of my recently viewed JDorama and this one really is my favorite (because of the story and specially the female main heroine ^_^)..I;ve rad many reviews and posts regarding this JDorama, that it has a similar story with an American TV series called Tru Calling, well as for me I haven’t watched nor seen Tru Calling so for me, Mop Girl’s story and plot is new.

Mop Girl’s story revolves around with the clumsy yet very hardworking Momoko Hasegawa. She works at Little Angels as a wedding planner but due to a certain accident (a funny accident) she was transferred to Little Angels’ other division mainly in the funeral service division where she helps on cleaning crime scenes, transfer dead bodies and even cleans a deceased person’s home. However, Momoko has a strange ability that allows her to travel back in time whenever she touched or made contact with a deceased person’s belongings and thus change/undo/prevent a certain crime to happen.

An artifact known as the “King’s Seal” is stolen during transport from Soul Society by an unidentified Soul Reaper and two arrancar girls who control fire and lightning. T?shir? Hitsugaya seems to recognize the Soul Reaper, who stabs him in the stomach, and abandons his post to pursue him. Seireitei suspects him of treason and orders his immediate capture, with the possibility of disbanding the 10th Division should he be guilty.

T?shir? is found unconscious by Ichigo, who knows that Soul Society is looking for him. T?shir? refuses to explain what’s happening, but Ichigo is attacked by the two arrancar before he can force the issue. T?shir? continues to avoid capture, and things only look worse when the Soul Reaper thief, identified as S?jir? Kusaka, uses Hitsugaya’s Hy?rinmaru to injure Shunsui Ky?raku. T?shir?’s capture is made top priority, and his execution is approved if he resists.

T?shir? eventually manages to track S?jir? down, where it is revealed that the two managed to manifest the same zanpakut?. Because this is a taboo in Soul Society, they were forced to fight to the death. T?shir? did not wish to but accidentally froze Kusaka in the fight. It was decided that T?shir? was winner while S?jir? was apparently killed, only to reincarnate in Hueco Mundo. Seeking revenge on Soul Society, he stole the King’s Seal, which allows the user to freely manipulate time, space, and matter within a small space. Using it, S?jir? teleports T?shir? and himself to Soul Society, needing the power of T?shir?’s bankai to break the seal. When T?shir? refuses, S?jir? breaks the seal himself, becoming a dragon made of ice. However, because he lacks the control T?shir? possesses, the power goes berserk and threatens to destroy Soul Society. With much help, Ichigo and T?shir? manage to destroy S?jir?’s dragon form. Returned to his regular form, S?jir? and T?shir? have one last clash, ending in S?jir?’s defeat. T?shir? is cleared of all charges and the King’s Seal is restored, allowing T?shir? to finally put his past to rest.

Angel Sanctuary (?????, Tenshi Kinry?ku?) is a manga and anime series created by Kaori Yuki. This 20-volume series was originally serialized in Hakusensha’s Hana to Yume. The manga was adapted as a three-episode OVA series that loosely covers the first story arc; it was intended to be an introduction to the manga rather than a complete story, and thus ends on an abrupt cliffhanger. Both the manga and anime feature mature content. A series of drama CDs based on the other story arcs was also released.

Angel Sanctuary is one of Kaori Yuki’s most celebrated works. Among other things, it discusses the morality of incestuous relationships, the nature of God, and other philosophical topics. North American distribution rights of the anime have been rescued from Central Park Media by Media Blasters (2007).

Green Green TV+ OVA

Quality: Good
English Subbed
Genre: Comedy, Game, Harem, Love-Romance, School Life

Green Green takes place in the countryside of Japan, at the isolated all-male boarding school of Kanenone Gakuen (translated literally in English as “Sound of the Bell Academy”). Since there are no females for miles, the school is advertised as the “last remaining paradise for men on Earth”. The Kanenone school board has begun talks to merge with an all-girl boarding school, in hopes of becoming a co-ed boarding school. This has the hormone-driven, girl-deprived male body of Kanenone thrilled.

Both schools decide to have a test run of sorts, having the girls from the all-girls school stay at Kanenone for a few weeks, in order to see how the boys and girls get along. Yuusuke Takazaki, the main character, has his hands full with his “perverted” roommates, nicknamed the Baka (”Idiot”) Trio. The Baka Trio - which consists of Bacchi-G?, a fat pervert, Ichiban-Boshi, a self-proclaimed ladies man, and Tenjin, a gentle giant who has a “little sister” fetish - are incredibly excited that there will be girls around.

When the buses containing the girls arrive, one girl named Midori Chitose excitedly disembarks first, leaping at and happily hugging a confused Yuusuke. Who is Midori and how does she know Yuusuke? The series focuses on answering this question and the antics of the Baka Trio.
